Shipping, QC photos, insurance & fees
The part that decides whether your money is safe. What QC photos really show, how free and paid insurance pay out, how to rehearse a parcel, and what makes shipping cost what it does.
What LoongBuy QC photos show
Every item gets a free standard inspection before storage. Staff verify the basics and photograph the item so you can decide before it ships.
QC verifies
Style, colour, size/spec and quantity, plus obvious exterior condition — stains, damage, broken zips or buttons — and whether accessories are complete.
Photos per category: about 6 for shoes, 4 for apparel, and 3 for bags, watches, glasses, jewelry and most small items — plus a short video. Fragile items get a "fragile" sticker.
Want more angles or reinforced packing? Those are optional value-added services (payable, or redeemable with points).
Free & paid parcel insurance
Free insurance (automatic)
Applies to every parcel at no cost:
- Air parcels: compensation around ¥60 per kg plus a full shipping refund on loss.
- Sea / rail / truck: around ¥30 per kg plus the shipping refund.
Paid insurance (optional)
Toggle it on at parcel submission to lift the payout toward the item's value (return shipping included). The premium is roughly the declared value plus shipping, times a small coefficient for your route.
Rehearsal, fees & shipping lines
Parcel rehearsal
An optional paid preview (about ¥20) where the warehouse simulates packing to estimate weight, size and cost. Ship that parcel and the fee is credited to your shipping; skip it and it isn't refunded.
What drives the fee
International shipping is priced on weight and volume and the line you pick. Bulky-but-light parcels are charged on volumetric weight, so consolidating and compressing helps.
Choosing a line
Each line has its own speed, price and country coverage (for example, dedicated US lines). Compare a couple for your destination; the app shows an estimated delivery window per line.
