Beginner mistakes to avoid

Almost every first-order problem comes from the same short list. Read it once and you'll skip the expensive lessons.

1 · Choosing only by the cheapest shipping quote. The lowest line is often the slowest or the one most likely to hit customs delays. Weigh speed, coverage and reliability, not just price.
2 · Buying a variant you didn't confirm. Order the exact colour and size on the store page, and ask the seller for a measurement chart in centimetres. Asian sizing runs small.
3 · Skipping the QC photos. They exist so you can catch problems before shipping. Open Account → Warehouse, zoom in, and raise issues while the item is still in China.
4 · Packing something that can't ship. Loose batteries, power banks, lighters, aerosols, bulk liquids and branded-logo goods cause seized or stuck parcels. Run items through the ship-check before you buy.
5 · Getting the address wrong. Insurance won't pay out for incorrect recipient details. Triple-check name, phone, street, postcode and country before submitting.
6 · Expecting guaranteed delivery dates. Line estimates are estimates. Order early before holidays and big sales, when routes get congested.
7 · Leaving items in the warehouse too long. Storage has a limit (around 90 days) with reminders before the deadline; after that items can be declared abandoned. Plan your parcels.
8 · Not keeping records. Save order numbers and QC photos. They're what support needs if you open a refund or insurance claim.
9 · Assuming a find is in stock and authentic. A spreadsheet listing is a lead, not a guarantee. Stock, final price and quality are only confirmed on the seller/agent side, and QC can't verify brand authenticity.

Avoid all nine in one pass

Line up your rewards, check what can ship, then follow the six steps — that's the safe first order.
