Peak-season logistics: why some lines slow down (and how to plan)
Around major sale windows and holidays, LoongBuy occasionally posts notices about resource allocation on busy lines. In plain terms: when everyone ships at once, some routes get congested and estimates stretch. This is normal for cross-border logistics, not a sign anything is wrong.
What tends to happen
- Popular lines (especially fast air routes to high-demand countries) fill up first.
- Customs and last-mile carriers get busier, adding a few days.
- Quoted delivery windows widen — they're estimates, and estimates move in peak season.
How to plan around it
- Order early. Give items time to arrive, clear QC and be stored before the rush.
- Consolidate sooner. Submit your parcel ahead of the busiest days rather than during them.
- Have a backup line. If your usual route is congested, a second line to your country may be quicker.
What this means for you. During big sales and holidays, add a buffer of several days to any estimate and ship earlier than you think you need to. Check the live per-line estimate in the app before you pay.
